Toronto Sun writer Steve Simmons has claimed that a deal was agreed to between Montreal and Toronto that would have seen Mats Sundin become a Hab. In return, the Leafs were set to recieve Chris Higgins and Montreal's first, second and third round draft picks for this season. However, Sundin nixed the deal and chose to remain a Leaf.
